Hyperhidrosis is a condition of excessive sweating, often localised or full-body, due to overactive eccrine glands producing more sweat than needed.

How common is Hyperhidrosis?

The condition affects around 3-4% of the population. Excessive sweating can affect all ages and genders, the whole body or just certain areas such as the hands, feet, face and armpits (axillae).
